Ermysted's Grammar School, Skipton, Yorks
I attended at Ermysted's from 1959 to 1966.
My first experience of computing was in the sixth form when we visited a computer lab at Bradford (it may have been a pegasus).
We were permitted to puch up on paper tape programs which we had previously written, and feed them into the machine.
I had written a program to convert numbers into binary notation, but was distressed to discover that rounding errors caused lots of unwanted 9's to appear in my output.
I took GCE examinations at "O", "A" and "S" levels and the Cambridge University Entrance Examination, obtaining results as follows:
O Levels (1964)
A Levels (1966)
Cambridge Entrance (1965)
S Level (1966)
