- Ultimately motivation must come from values which are rooted in emotion (and even the words have the same root).
- Discovery and invention are almost always creative processes which demand intelligence and intuition.
- Discoveries are conjectural, and ulimately our processes of confirmation involve completion of some process, formal in the broadest sense, sufficient to persuade ourselves and our peers, that imagination has not lead us astray.
